Halloween 2015

Halloween so so fun this year!  With the reemergence of Star Wars, our boys all wanted to get in on the fun and we went with a Star Wars theme for the boys costumes.

I got to help out at Gray's preschool Halloween party doing some crafts.

And Ty and Tucker thought it would be fun to dress up like girls for some reason....
Nate and I also got to go to 2 fun adult parties..one murder mystery dinner and one Witch Hunt.  Both super fun!  We are lucky to live in such a fun ward.

Nate and I were Wayne and Garth from Wayne's World this year
The trunk or treat was moved into the church due to rain, and it turned out super fun.
After the church fun, we headed out to dinner with our friends the Hegerhorsts, then walked around a neighborhood for some more treats.
One other "Halloween-ie" thing we did this year was do a trick-or-treat on the trail, which went up Badger Mountain, collecting things along the way.  The boys had fun with this!

Fright Night 2014

We got to start out our Halloween festivities by joining T at school for lunch and then his class party!  His teacher had some fun things planned that the kids loved...first up making Glarch...(gak).  They decorated cookies, made homemade ice cream, and did experiments with water and oil that the kids thought were so cool.  She even gave them glow sticks and had a dance party in the dark.

Then he was off on his "book parade."  The kids were supposed to dress up like their favorite book character and carry that book around.  Naturally, I just went out and bought a Hulk book so I didn't have to come up with another costume!
Later that day, we were off to see our friends at our old ward's trunk-or-treat.  Imagine my surprise when I looked in my rearview mirror to see the Hulk with headphones on!
 They are too cute!
Nate and I were Phil and Kay from the show Duck Dynasty, and my little Coop was a biker dude.  I am quite pleased with how that turned out :)

After getting lots of candy, balloon swords, donuts, hot chocolate, and seeing lots of friends, we headed over to the Grandview Nazerene church for some more fun with our friends.  The boys played lots of games, did a big climbing wall, a bounce house, and so many other fun things!
There is nothing tougher looking than a biker dude with a binky in his mouth....just sayin'!

{October}

Time is cruising along!  I can't believe it's almost baby time 'round here...snuck up on me mighty quick!  Anyhow, we have been having all sorts of fall-time fun that needs to be documented!  First up...we of course made a few more trips over to Bill's Berry Farm for pumpkins and pressed 11 gallons of apple cider (YUM!).  The boys sure love helping in the process!

Now my chest freezer is stocked with cider for the coming months whenever the craving should hit me!

And of course we had fun Halloween activities going on...we participated in a trunk-or-treat for charity at my Dr's office, and went to the Sunnyside ward's trunk-or-treat/chili cookoff.  The boys had lots of fun and got their fill of trick-or-treating.

Grayson was forced to be a pirate this year, since I had the costume to fit him.  Next year I'll be a nice mom and let him pick out his own costume ;)
Tucker was so excited to be Captain America...and has had to refrain from wearing his costume for a long time (I think we bought it like 6 or 7 weeks before Halloween).  Now he makes a frequent appearance at our house.
 My little cuties :)
And here's Tuck after trying to eat a powdered donut off a string....needless to say, he liked it!
We finished up soccer season at the Church of the Nazarene...Tucker was definitely bummed to see it end.  He LOVED soccer and is counting down the days until it starts again!
Daddy occasionally gets to come home early and take a nap with his little munchkin :)
We hit up 2 of the Prosser High Mustang games, including homecoming, for something different to do...makes me miss the old days of high school or even when my little bro was playing.
Tucker was named Student of the Month in his class at Arthur H. Smith Elementary School.  So proud of the little man!  In just the few short months he has been in school his reading and writing has taken off tremendously!
And we went out to breakfast to celebrate the Student of the Month, and of course making towers out of creamer was more popular than the breakfast itself...
One of Nate's best childhood friends and his mom stopped by for a visit to watch the Buckeyes with us one evening.  It was good to get to know them.
And of course have been spending some time in the leaves...
Naturally, we were in another parade.  This time it was Sunshine Days over in Sunnyside.  My boys sure love parades and think they are celebrities always being IN parades rather than watching from the sidelines.
 No toothbrush favors this time!
The Shriners were right behind us and let the boys test out their cool little cars.
 Our parade group...
We had a parent night so Tucker could show us around his classroom...
We also had a Father/Daughter party for activity days that was a BLAST!  We did a hoedown theme and the girls loved every second of it.

Baby bump continues to grow...36 week bump...
Hopefully November will be filled with many more fun events (like welcoming baby brother into the world)!  Stay tuned!

Fright Night...

I feel awful about my lack of picture taking the last few months.  In any case...here are my few Halloween photos!

My mantle...I am loving having a large mantle to display lots of fun things!

On the day of Halloween, we went to lunch at Nate's office.  We ate some yummy soups in bread bowls and ate yummy treats.  The wives of the dentists were also asked to judge a pumpkin contest...it was hard to choose!
Here they are...a full staff of lovely ladies and the 2 docs in the office.  So fun!  Tucker had to miss out on the action because of a party at preschool...but he had fun as well :)
 Onto Halloween night...

We went over to the church for the Trunk-or-Treat.  I cannot even tell you how much Grayson loved saying Trick-or-Treat and Thank You!  He threw a temper tantrum when it was time to go home, so we thought we'd stop by a few houses on the way home so he could get in a few more thank you's.
Here's T buddy with his girlfriend Ryleigh.  Such a cute couple :)

Here is Nate's intricately carved pumpkin.  I guess all that time in dental school with a hand piece paid off!  This face of Tucker's is actually quite frightening, though!

Happy Halloween!
