Utah in June

In between graduation and work life, we were lucky enough to spend about 5 weeks in Utah with our awesome families!  It was nice to be able to see everyone we wanted to at least once, many of them friends we haven't seen in a few years.

Nate helped his dad on a project or two while we were around, first on the agenda was replacing his deck.  Tucker was more than willing to help out with the task.
I was able to go on a SLC temple garden tour with my mom's Relief Society.  It is absolutely gorgeous this time of year and I got a few names of plants I'd like to plant one of these days.

We decided to head down for some swimming at Northshore with the killer deal my Mom got on a Groupon, it didn't disappoint!  The boys loved every minute of it and loved playing with their aunts.

We were excited that we were around for South Ogden Days this year, it's been a long while since we have been able to participate in the festivities...and it always brings back good memories.  We started off our Saturday by checking out the parade with the fam.

Tucker just grabbed the Tootsie Rolls, his fav :)

The South Ogden parade never disappoints in the candy department!  Yep, my purse is completely full with many odds and ends...and we even got a Jimmy John's sandwich.  Awesome!
And what would S.O. days be without overpriced rides, bands that were famous 15 years ago, and a glass of fried coke?!  We finished off the festivities by watching the fireworks at Friendship Park with great friends.
We also were around to celebrate Momma's birthday with her this year.  Dang her, she cooked her own birthday cake!
And lastly, we were able to catch up with some other great friends from Ohio...Tucker's best friend in fact!  Tuck still has breakdowns occasionally when he just misses his bud.  It's a good thing they are in Utah now and we can get together from time to time.  Tucker can't wait until Christmastime!

We met up with them in Murray to hang out at the splashpad, and I loved seeing these boys re-unite.  Their little hugs they give eachother melt my heart :)  Nate and I also got to catch up with Melinda and share our moving woes, and how much we really did love Ohio.
