{Hippity Hoppity}

I love Easter, everything about it.  I love that it is in the Spring and everything is beautiful outside.  It reminds me of Christ being resurrected with all the flowers and trees coming back to life.  I love that the sun is making an appearance again after months and months of gray skies.  I love that it is another holiday with yummy food and you can share it with wonderful friends and family.  I love all the activities associated with Easter....coloring eggs, Easter egg hunts, making fun treats with the kiddos, picking out Easter clothes for church, seeing what the Easter bunny brings the kids, the beautiful views out my window, and having wonderful lessons and reminders of why we celebrate the season.

We had a wonderful Easter at our house.  We had my sister Courtni around to celebrate with us (not to mention she celebrated her 21st birthday with us on Easter!)  We appreciate her coming to celebrate such a big birthday with us instead of going out and partying bigtime :)

We were able to squeeze in a few Easter activities while she was here...

Annual egg hunt at the park...unfortunately some rainy weather scared many away, but it was still fun with a small group.  Tucker got more than his share of eggs and had fun finding the eggs.

 Courtni was a good sport to help him find some eggs.

 Tucker scored and got lots of yummy candy :)  That's the last thing we need at our house!

 We didn't want to leave Gray out, but didn't want to give him a regular egg, so he just chewed on a plastic one :)

Then came Easter morning....the Easter Bunny found my 2 little men :)

 For Easter dinner, we spent some time at the Hendriks fo some yummy food followed by an egg hunt...here are thekiddos all ready to find some eggs
