Portlandia

It was time to get away from Eastern Washington for a while.  We could think of no better place for a long weekend that Portland and to spend some time with the Quigleys!  We sure miss our friends, but we are glad they didn't head too far away.  

We spent some time at the Portland Zoo, which we just love!  

 After the zoo we hung out at the Quigleys and had some pizza, get caught up on life, and got to see their cute new house!

 The next day we met them at the Jungle, a huge indoor McDonald's type play place that kept the kids busy for no joke 4 HOURS!  It was amazing, and I sure wish we had one of these places closer!!!

 We had to make a stop by Voodoo, because well...that's what you do in Portland.

 Another reason for our trip was that the Jazz were in town!  The Quigleys were kind enough to be our babysitters and Nate and I got to have date night at the game :)  

Here was Nate's dinner choice...footlong with mac 'n cheese, candied jalapenos, and siracha.  HEARTBURN!

 On the way home, we stopped at Multnomah Falls, which we have stopped at before...but this time decided to climb the beast.  It was a steep hike!  We made it, and the boys did great.  My fitness tracker told me I got in my 10,000 steps for the day by 9:30.  Not a bad day!

We love Portland and can't wait to return!
