Well, I finally got some of my fam to head up to the Northwest! One of my brothers and 2 of my sisters had Spring Break this last week, and instead of hitting up the usual warmer Spring Break locations, they made the drive to Washington! We knew they'd get pretty bored pretty fast sitting in Grandview, so we planned another little side trip while they were here and took off for Seattle.
On the way we stopped off at Snoqualmie Falls...
And then we headed for Pike's Market, because if you go to Seattle, you have to see it! I always drool over the fresh produce. We walked away with some grapples this time. YUMMY!
And I always want to pick up a beautiful bouquet of flowers. They are all only about $10...ridiculously cheap!!
Nate had to stop by and grab some freshly shucked oysters, as always....
And somehow talked Jenna into partaking...She wasn't a fan :)
On my agenda this time was to see the gum wall, since we missed it last time. It was definitely grossly cool!
And then a quick walk along the boardwalk, we let the boys take a ride on the merry-go-round...
Our adventures in Seattle took us to Seattle Center, the spot the World's Fair was held back in the 60s. The kids loved this maze...Tucker and Jaxon found the end!
We debated back and forth going up the Space Needle, but with the $19/person price tag, we opted to scope it out from below!
After our adventures in Seattle were over, we headed back to Grandview and hung out at the house, I think we were all sick of the car! The rest of their trip here was filled with eating leftover chicken (Jenna), playing games with the boys, grilling, eating a yummy Cafe Rio dinner, tours of the countryside, watching movies, and hanging out.
Not to mention these two fellas..watched a few basketball games, and even watched some soccer!
We loved having visitors and welcome them back anytime...not to mention anyone else that wants to scope out Eastern Washington!!!
