With all our moving preparations going into full force, we've been trying to get rid of things. Lots of things. The Goodwill has benefitted greatly from us the last few weeks. We have limited space on the moving van, and therefore we are trying to downsize those things we can. We even participated in our first garage sale! This pic was taken after before we had everything all set up, I was tired and needed to get to bed after working all night :)
Going along with our sales, we still have the house up for sale and sold our car last week. It just made too much sense to sell it at this point in time. It was a little bit sad to see her go. It was our first big purchase as a married couple when we got rid of Nate's beloved blue truck that he loved so much (it was not equipped for a child AT ALL!). We sold it to an old man that will treat her good!
It's not that often you have that much cash in your hands at once, so I snapped a quick pic before Nate when and deposited it in the bank. Even after a week we can see how hard it is being a one car family! We've also said goodbye to our patio furniture, old stove, and many odds and ends. Yay for getting rid of junk!

Good luck on the move Brit. Sounds like a ton of work!! Linds said you will be here for a couple of months so we will definitely need to get together before you head off to Washington!
I LOVE getting rid of things... de-junking is the best! Good luck with everything in the next couple of weeks! and yes, like Leash said, we will for sure have to get together while you're in Utah!
Moving is so overwhelming! Normally I'm just headed down the street and it's still so much work. You're moving across the country! Good luck with everything! And like the girls said, I'd love to see you while you're in Utah.
